Books, books, books. They’re everywhere!
Some are brand new and have never been read. But the majority of these books show the usual signs of having been in the hands of readers.
A few of the books have been handled by many people; they are scuffed, perhaps contain a bit of writing, and some of the pages might be dog-eared. Some of dustjackets for the hardcover editions have gone missing. In addition, some of the volumes here are ex-library books, bearing all the labels and markings which accompany that status.
All of these books are waiting to be read. None of them show any signs of significant damage, only the normal wear and tear that occur during reading. There are no signs of mold or mildew or exposure to water, no “musty” or smoky smells, and none of the pages are crumbling or falling out.
